About Islamic Query

Islamic Query is a darul ifta online. You can search fatwas that have already been given, or ask a new question in your own language.

Answers come from muftis of the Hanafi Ahl-e-Sunnat. A mufti writes each answer (the mujeeb), and a senior mufti checks it and gives tasdeeq (the musaddiq) before it is published or sent. Both names appear on every fatwa.

Every published fatwa has a permanent number. Anyone can check a fatwa’s number, text and history on the verify page.

Each translation appears only after a scholar for that language has approved it.
